Songs of Myself: Episodes from the Edge of Adulthood

Beautiful, brutal honesty about struggles, triumphs...Each memoir lends a different voice to the song of these student's lives. I learned so much about myself by reading about how each person bravely faced what could have destroyed them, but instead made them stronger in spirit. I was honored to have my painting in the book.
Truly honest account of our generation; beautifulI submitted a the only painting that was published in the book(it opens the section on pregnancy) and i was honored to have my work surrounded by such honest and heartwrenching memories of my those in my generation. This book is truly unique in that it tells the story of people just reaching the threshold of adulthood, and how they reached that point.
Michelle Haynie's memoir was outstanding!Very insightful. This collection showed almost brutal honesty. A worthwhile read for all.

A Wonderful Window on TowsonA marvelous collection of photos and captions that provides a unique view of how the Towson, Maryland area has evolved and grown over the decades. Thoughtfully chosen details reveal the warm historical character of the region, and I expect that casual readers and researchers alike will find resonances with the history of their own hometowns and families, even if they are only discovering Towson for the very first time.

Towson: A Pictorial History of a Maryland Town
Published in Hardcover by Walsworth Publishing (November, 1977)

Towson: A Picitoral History of MarylandThis book really is very well done! It is very informative of Maryland throughout its years. George Hahn has obviously put lots of work into this really wonderful book that basically sums up the history of Maryland. I was really impressed by the pictures he had of this state that I really never knew could be so interesting! Another reason I liked it was because of its combination of a scrapbook and an interesting story that leads you through this state's history! This book is 2 thumbs way, way, up!
